In recognition of the 65th Anniversary of Peace Corps, the 25th Anniversary of the Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship, and the decades of impact that Returned Peace Corps Volunteers have had in our community, the Tucson City Council and Mayor Romero are planning an official proclamation recognizing our local Peace Corps community.
The proclamation is scheduled to take place at the Tucson City Council meeting on March, 3rd beginning at 5:30 PM. Several representatives of our community will be on hand to accept the proclamation and we encourage Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and supporters to attend.
